Coolsculpting technology safely delivers precisely controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells underneath the skin while leaving the skin itself unaffected. AcuPulse CO2 Laser Resurfacing
Since introduced by Lumenis in 1980, CO2 lasers had gone though revolutionary improvements topped up by the launch of AcuPulse CO2 in 2009, with further additions to treatment possibilities on subsequent years.
The AcuPulse Fractional CO2 laser is offers the unique ability to penetrate deeper into the skin, ablating very narrow (microscopic) columns of the skin whilst leaving the surrounding skin intact. The cascade of events from the initial laser impact to the final skin rejuvenation leads amongst other things, to collagen contraction, new collagen formation and peeling off of superficially sun damaged and pigmented skin.
Different treatment options are available. The superficial fractional mode targets the superficial layer of skin (epidermis) which makes it suitable for moderate sun damage , fine lines and uneven texture. The Deep fractional mode penetrates deeper into the skin which make it suitable for advanced sun damage, deeper lines and acne scars. A combination mode is also available where both superficial and deeper skin layers can be treated.
